ibex fairstay accompanies and certifies accommodation establishments on their way to sustainable management.

The holistic support includes the five dimensions of management, ecology, regional anchoring, social balance, finances and performance. A catalog of measures as well as supported calculations and analyses are used to identify practical opportunities for improvement.

Quality of management

Sustainability must be consciously anchored in management. Internal structures and processes are adapted accordingly: Employee management, internal organization, controlling, guest orientation, innovation.

Leading sustainability label

Living sustainability for a special vacation stay.

A large number of hotels, hostels, clinics, campsites, vacation apartments and restaurants throughout Switzerland already proudly bear the ibex fairstay label. They have been inspected by accredited auditors and assessed by the independent certification committee. Depending on their sustainability performance, the establishments are awarded ibex fairstay bronze, silver, gold or platinum. Find out more under award-winning establishments. Der Fragebogen für die Nachhaltigkeits-Beurteilung wurde von Arthur Braunschweig und Domenico Saladino in den Jahr 2002 bis 2017 erarbeitet und seither von ibex fairstay kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt.
