From pioneers to committed young hotel managers - from the very beginning, it was a matter close to the hearts of everyone involved to promote holistic sustainability. They have all shaped ibex fairstay, the former ibex label, and made it what it is today: the leading Swiss sustainability label in the hotel and accommodation industry.
25 years - something to celebrate.
It started with the members' evening on Monday evening, March 6, 2023 at the Hotel Säntispark in Abtwil. Members of ibex fairstay were cordially invited to raise a glass to the anniversary on the evening before the ibex fairstay training and networking day and to get to know personalities and anecdotes from the early days over a cozy dinner. Of course, there was also an opportunity to look to the future. Because one thing has remained the same since the very beginning: continuing to develop, creating added value and adopting new trends at an early stage.

Hotel Säntispark in Abtwil gave us a warm welcome
The pioneers from the early days, the members of the certification committee, representatives from the member companies and the team of auditors came together for the anniversary celebration. The Hotel Säntispark, once a Migros Ostschweiz hotel, was recently sold to Fortimo Group AG. The concept with the main pillars seminar - family - competitive sports center will be continued in a promising way. The Hotel Säntispark in Abtwil was our guest venue on Monday, March 6, 2023, on the eve of the ibex fairstay training and networking day, allowing us to take a look behind the scenes. Roland Rhyner, Director of Hotel Säntispark Abtwil, showed how he has achieved a high level of resilience in times of crisis thanks to this diversification and how the individual guest groups complement and stimulate each other.
