Swiss SDG Tourism Dialogue launched
The Swiss SDG Tourism Dialogue was launched in mid-August 2020. The initiative aims to anchor the global 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) more firmly in the tourism industry. A diverse and broad-based consortium provided the impetus for the project. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) is supporting the project. ibex fairstay is a member of the LinkedIn group "SwissTourism4SDGs - Swiss Tourism Dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals", a practice-oriented knowledge platform that facilitates cooperation and aims to bundle commitment in an efficient and future-oriented manner. We look forward to networked action in the sense of future-oriented, respectful cooperation in tourism.

ibex fairstay with new advisory board
ibex fairstay has appointed three new sustainability experts to the advisory board. In addition to the Certification Committee, the Advisory Board contributes to the further development of ibex fairstay in an advisory capacity with its broad experience. Both committees are made up of experts from the fields of science, business, the environment, hotel management and/or tourism. The members of the advisory board are Prof. Urs Wagenseil, Roland Schmid and Prof. Dr. Christian Baumgartner.
