Bienvenue: Nyon Hostel on Lake Geneva
The Nyon Hostel could not be in a better location, right next to Lake Geneva in the pretty little town of Nyon. Situated 20 km east of Geneva, but still outside a hectic city in the middle of the vineyards of La Côte, Nyon is the ideal starting point for many outdoor activities or one of the famous festivals. The Nyon Hostel opened in February 2017 in an ecologically sustainable renovated building and is aiming for an ibex fairstay award. We are delighted to be able to support the team in this endeavor.

The GAIA Hotel in Basel, in the immediate vicinity of Basel train station, has decided to have its exemplary approach to sustainability reviewed, improved and certified by ibex fairstay. The family-run city hotel is an organic hotel and has set itself the goal of becoming a zero-waste hotel. We are delighted to be able to actively support the GAIA Hotel in the certification process and wish the team every success.

The Hotel Landgasthof Staila in Fuldera, with its strong regional roots, had its commitment to sustainability reviewed and was awarded ibex fairstay bronze for the first time. ibex fairstay congratulates the people responsible for the path they have chosen and for having the courage to engage with new planning instruments.
